Matching your camo to the right environment is critical to a successful stealthing effort. First, consider whether you will be stationary or plan to be moving. If you don't plan on moving, then your immediate surroundings should be your first thought. However if you plan to be in motion, your environment is ever changing and you will need a more variable camoflage pattern. Your camo hunting cloths will not make you invisible but it will break up your silhouette and blend your form into the background. A common practice now is to wear two or three different camoflage patterns. Consider matching your camo pants to the lower vegetation, boots to the grounds unique pattern, and your torso to the trees or such you may lean against. This can help with a reflective backdrop. You can even apply camouflage to the rubber in your boot soles with excellent adhesion and pattern integrity. Use whatever cover and surroundings you can find to your advantage and conceal your position. You know your hunting area as well as anyone, so be sure to match with the dominant color and/or vegetation. If you're not familiar with the area ask a friend, shop owner, or guide. As always, full camoflage is a must. That means your face, gear, or any and all objects that may give off a reflective glare.
Full camouflage for hunting certain game with great vision like turkey is a must. Think full coverage and cover it all including a camo hat or head wrap, long sleeve shirt, camo pants, very dark or Camoflauge boots, face, hands, wrap the stock or barrel, or any other object that might show or reflect light. Camo body paint can cover your hands, face, and ears.
