The first thing many of us do is look for a great spot to put our camos to use. One of my favorite spots is in the treeline with a view of an open area. This allows you to blend in but still have a wide shooting area. Look for high travel areas or food supplies and consider a tree stand if possible. Being in the shade will hide both you and your shadow. When learning how to camouflage, always remember to conceal shape, shine, and silhouette (they all start with the letter s) and be careful with your movement if you want to travel. Movement is always the first thing game will pickup. Try not to allow yourself to be backlit either. Do not allow brighter objects behind you such as the sky as you come over a hilltop. Even light colored objects around you will silhouette you and show your form.
